About Ottawa Humane Society
The Ottawa Humane Society (OHS) is the city's main animal shelter and adoption centre, located on West Hunt Club Road. Beyond adoptions and animal welfare work, OHS runs youth programs — including one of the most unique PD Day camps in Ottawa.
Kids spend the day at the shelter learning about animal care, touring the facility, and interacting with animals in a controlled, educational setting.
PD Day Camp
- Schedule: 9am-4pm
- Pricing: $75 (tax included)
- Extended Care: Free 8-9am and 4-4:30pm
- Activities:
- Interactive presentations on animal welfare
