Based on extensive research and interviews, SWEAT follows a tight-knit group of coworkers who have shared their lives both on and off the factory floor. But when deindustrialization threatens their jobs, friendships fray, resentments surface, and long-buried tensions around race, class, and belonging are thrust to the surface.
