Some of the events, people, wins and losses that have shaped Canadian soccer history.
Canada is hosting the 2026 FIFA World Cup, alongside Mexico and the United States. It’s one of the world’s largest sporting events, with 48 countries competing. Canada will host 13 matches in Toronto and Vancouver.
To mark this occasion, this small display features six objects from the Museum’s collection that highlight Canada’s international soccer history. Together, they offer a glimpse into the events, people, wins and losses that have shaped Canadian soccer history.
