About Parkdale Market
The Parkdale Market is one of Ottawa's most beloved outdoor markets, operating in the Hintonburg neighbourhood since 1924. Unlike producer-only markets, Parkdale is a public market with a mix of growers, resellers, and artisans — giving it a wide selection of produce, plants, and goods.
The market is especially popular in spring for its stunning selection of bedding plants, hanging baskets, and flowers. In late November through Christmas Eve, vendors sell fresh-cut Christmas trees and wreaths.
What to Find
- Fresh Produce — Local and imported fruits, vegetables, and herbs
- Plants & Flowers — Bedding plants, hanging baskets, perennials (spring specialty)
