Kettleman's Bagel has been an Ottawa institution since 1993. The Bank Street location operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, with bagels baked in a wood-fired oven around the clock. The Montreal-style bagels are smaller, denser, and sweeter than New York-style — boiled in honey water before baking.
