About
The ByWard Market Heart & Crown is Ottawa's "Irish Village" — five pubs under one roof, six patios (including a rooftop), connected by shared space and separate vibes. Together they occupy a full block of Clarence Street and form one of the biggest nightlife footprints in the city.
The Irish Village consists of the Heart & Crown proper, the Snug Pub, Peter Devine's, Mother McGintey's, and Roisin Dubh (The Black Rose) — each with its own character. Live music runs daily across three different stages.
The Five Pubs
- Heart & Crown — the original Irish pub anchor
- The Snug Pub — smaller, intimate room
- Peter Devine's — pub-style with live music
