About Centertown Halifax Donair & Pizza
Centertown Donair on Bronson Avenue is the first successful Halifax-style donair restaurant in the Ottawa region — family-owned by the Anbara family since 2009. The Anbaras brought East-Coast donair to Ottawa nearly 20 years after settling in the city, and the shop became the Maritime outpost for Ottawa's displaced East Coasters. Donairs are made fresh daily with the sweet condensed-milk donair sauce that defines the Halifax style.
