Caméline opened in spring 2023 in Vieux-Hull and almost immediately landed on the Air Canada enRoute Best New Restaurants finalists list — one of Canada's most prestigious restaurant honours. Chef Simon Laroche (formerly of Ottawa's North & Navy and trained in Italy) brings authentic Italian technique together with a Quebec terroir sensibility.
The signature is fresh pasta made on-site daily — comfort with conviction. The room is intimate, neighbourhood-scale, in a heritage block on rue Saint-Jacques in Old Hull, just minutes across the river from downtown Ottawa.
