Taking a "Peep" at the Ottawa Valley Wild Bird Care Centre (Ages 7-12)

Taking a "Peep" at the Ottawa Valley Wild Bird Care Centre (Ages 7-12)

Join Patty McLaughlin from the Wild Bird Care Centre for a fun and exciting hands-on presentation that invites participants to “dive in” to the amazing world of birds! Participants will explore the unique adaptations of water birds and forest birds and will have the exciting opportunity to meet the Centre’s new ambassador falcon. There will be a chance to hold real wings, beaks, feet and feathers to discover how these special tools help birds survive in water and forest habitats. Patty will also share simple tips and easy actions families can take to help protect our feathered friends in their own backyard. For ages 7 to 12 year. Registration required. Ottawa Public Library is committed to ensuring that all programs are accessible to everyone. If you need assistance registering for this program or require specific accommodations to participate, please contact us. July 28th 2:00-3:00pm Ages 7-12. Registration required.
