
Gays of Ottawa (GO, 1971-1995) was Ottawa’s first 2SLGBTQ+ organization. It provided social services, led political activism and awareness, and organized social events for a burgeoning community.Join us as Glenn Crawford recounts the challenges and successes of GO from its humble origins to a catastrophic fire, to its founding of other significant groups and services and its eventual closure. Glenn Crawford is a researcher, writer and designer for the Village Legacy Project.
