Sooshi Mango are one of Australia’s most successful and beloved comedy acts, created by brothers Joe and Carlo Salanitri and their close friend Andrew Manfre. What began just nine years ago as casual, car-filmed comedy clips quickly grew into a cultural phenomenon. Their relatable, character-driven humour—rooted in the experiences of immigrant families, has earned them record-breaking live shows, viral global reach, and a devoted audience across Australia and beyond.
The trio has achieved unprecedented success in live entertainment, becoming the only comedy act to sell out both Rod Laver Arena and Qudos Bank Arena multiple times (three and two consecutive sell-outs respectively). Their accolades include an AACTA Award for Favourite Australian Digital Comedy Creator and a feature role in the smash hit motion picture comedy, Wog Boys Forever. Their transformative 2022 Off the Boat Tour sold over 125,000 tickets across Australia and marked their international breakthrough, with sell-out performances across North America (including Toronto, New York, Chicago, Vancouver, and Boston) and two sold-out shows in London. These appearances introduced their uniquely Australian, ethnic-inspired comedy to new global audiences.
Digitally, Sooshi Mango has become a powerhouse, amassing more than one billion video views and cultivating an online community of over 8 million followers worldwide! Their characters, Johnny, Vince, and Sam, along with Giuseppina, Carmela, and Angela - have become iconic tributes to migrant parents and grandparents, blending affectionate parody with universal humour. They also hold the record for the most viral video ever produced in Australia, with over 170 million views and counting.
Beyond the stage and screen, the trio has expanded their creative universe into hospitality and media. In 2023, they opened Johnny, Vince & Sam’s Ristorante on Melbourne’s Lygon Street, bringing their characters into a theatrical dining environment. They launched the Sooshi Mango Podcast, performed at the Dubai Comedy Festival, and sold out the Palais Theatre twice while filming their first TV feature.
The years 2024 and 2025 marked continued growth with major collaborations and cultural recognition. Highlights include a creative partnership with The Wiggles, a scheduled appearance at Carols in the Domain, and progress toward expanding their restaurant brand with a new fast-food venture. Their appointment as the 2025 Moomba Monarchs stands as one of Melbourne’s highest cultural honours.
Their most ambitious live project to date, the HOME MADE arena tour, launched in 2024 and rapidly became a nationwide sensation. The initial tour required extensive additional dates due to overwhelming demand, surpassing 30 arena shows across Australia. The 2025 HOME MADE ENCORE run added more than 15 additional shows, many of which sold out immediately - together forming the largest and most successful touring era in the group’s history.
Looking ahead, Sooshi Mango will take HOME MADE international in 2026, touring North America and Europe and further solidifying their place as a globally recognised comedy act.
Don’t miss your chance to see Sooshi Mango live — the world tour is coming.
