The Irish Society of the National Capital Region brings back the St. Patrick's Day Parade to Ottawa on March 7, 2026, marking the Bicentennial of Bytown!
The parade features a new route described as "a gift to visitors because it's essentially a moving postcard" that beautifully frames Ottawa's skyline.

Parade Route
The parade leaves the Supreme Court of Canada (301 Wellington Street) at 12:00 PM and proceeds eastward on Wellington Street, passing in front of the Parliament Building, over the Rideau Canal to Sussex Drive, then turns northward on Sussex Drive to York Street before turning eastward into the heart of the ByWard Market.

2026 marks the 200th anniversary of the founding of Bytown, making this year's parade extra special as part of the bicentennial celebrations.
