The first Ottawa Outdoor Film Festival celebrates adventure, conservation, and diversity through powerful Canadian short films exploring the country's wild spaces and stories.

Date: Saturday, November 15, 2025 Time: 5:30 PM - 9:00 PM (Doors at 5:20 PM) Location: ByTowne Cinema, 325 Rideau Street, Downtown Ottawa

Wildflowers - Mountain writer and historian Meghan J. Ward recruits a team of creative women to revisit Mary Schäffer Warren's 1908 expedition to Maligne Lake, in Alberta's Jasper National Park.

Plus additional powerful Canadian short films exploring wild spaces and conservation stories.

Supporting Conservation

Proceeds directly support the Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society, Ottawa Valley Chapter (CPAWS-OV), including their work to protect the National Capital Greenbelt and champion Gatineau Park.

Accessibility

The ByTowne auditorium and washrooms are fully accessible for patrons in wheelchairs.
